Fazoli’s Locations: Every Restaurant by State

Fazoli’s has been shrinking and moving at the same time: restaurants have closed across the Midwest while new ones open in Florida, Arizona, and Canada. This independent guide tracks where Fazoli’s actually operates today — every state, how many restaurants each one has, which cities they are in, and which states have lost their last location. Fazolis Menu is an independent guide and is not the official Fazoli’s website; for live hours and directions, always confirm your restaurant on the official Fazoli’s location finder before you set out.

Ready to find your nearest Fazoli’s? Use the official store locator to search by city, state, or ZIP code and see your restaurant’s address, phone number, and hours.

Fazoli’s Locations at a Glance

Those numbers move often — Fazoli’s count stood at 192 in November 2025 before a wave of closures. Where a figure on this page matters to a trip, treat it as a starting point and verify the individual restaurant before travelling.

How to Find the Fazoli’s Near You

The fastest way to find the closest restaurant is the official Fazoli’s location finder: https://locations.fazolis.com/

1. Open the official location finder and enter your city, state, or ZIP code — or allow location access and use ‘Use my location.’

2. Set a search radius. In Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, most people are within a short drive of a restaurant; in single-store states, the nearest Fazoli’s may be hours away.

3. Open your restaurant’s page for its address, phone number, and hours, and check the closing time before you go — hours are set per restaurant, not chain-wide. Most locations close at 10 PM (11 PM on Friday and Saturday), but some close as early as 8:30 PM.

4. If your town is not listed, check the state table below. If your state is not in the table at all, there is currently no Fazoli’s in your state.

Fazoli’s Locations by State

Restaurant counts below come from the official Fazoli’s location finder, counted in August 2026 and adjusted for confirmed closures since. Cities named are the places with a restaurant in each state; states are ordered by restaurant count.

For the largest states, the city list above is complete or near-complete. For smaller states, we name the cities we could verify against the official finder and current listings; if your town is missing, the official location finder is the live source and always wins over any printed list — including this one.

The States With the Most Fazoli’s

Kentucky — 26 restaurants

Kentucky is Fazoli’s home state and still its biggest market by a wide margin. The chain was founded in Lexington in 1988; its headquarters are still there, and Lexington and Louisville hold the deepest coverage, with restaurants spread across the state’s smaller cities from Ashland and Pikeville in the east to Paducah and Murray in the west.

Indiana — 18 restaurants

Indiana is the second-largest market, anchored by Indianapolis, which alone has nine Fazoli’s restaurants — the most of any city in the country. Indiana also lost the most restaurants in the 2025–26 closure wave (down from 29), so older directories overstate its count more than any other state’s.

Ohio — 15 restaurants

Ohio’s restaurants cluster around Columbus and Dayton, with a line of single stores across the north and centre of the state — Canton, Sandusky, Mansfield, Heath, Springfield and Troy among them.

Tennessee and Missouri — 10 each

Tennessee’s ten are concentrated in the east (Knoxville, Kingsport, Johnson City) plus Nashville, Clarksville and the Chattanooga corridor. Missouri’s ten are led by Springfield, which has two.

States With No Fazoli’s

If your state is not in the table, Fazoli’s does not currently operate there. Two states lost their last restaurant recently:

• Alabama — Fazoli’s exited Alabama completely during the 2025–26 closures (its last two restaurants, including Montgomery and Fort Payne, closed).

• South Dakota — the state’s last Fazoli’s, in Sioux Falls, closed in August 2026.

California keeps exactly one restaurant, and large parts of the country — the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, New York, Pennsylvania, and New England — have never had Fazoli’s coverage at all. The chain remains a Midwest and Upper South brand.

New and Upcoming Fazoli’s Locations

• Tallahassee, Florida — opened May 2026, Fazoli’s return to the city and its first-ever double drive-thru restaurant (3122 Mahan Drive).

• Surprise, Arizona — opened December 2025 in metro Phoenix, following Mesa and Glendale; Arizona is the chain’s clearest growth market. Local reports also count a Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport restaurant, which is why some sources put Arizona at four.

• Kissimmee, Florida — announced as the next Florida opening.

• Calgary, Canada — opened June 2025, the first Fazoli’s outside the United States, under a development deal announced in 2024 that plans up to 25 Canadian restaurants over 10 years.

• Utah and Puerto Rico — named in the company’s announced development plans; no open restaurants at the time of writing.

Announced plans are not open restaurants — development deals slip, and only the official finder confirms a location you can eat at today.

Recent Closings: Why the Count Keeps Changing

Fazoli’s operated 192 US restaurants in November 2025. By August 2026, the count was about 141 — roughly 50 closures in nine months, the sharpest contraction in the chain’s history. The closures followed the January 2026 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of its parent company, FAT Brands; the chain was sold to FBG Bid Co. in June 2026 and continues operating under its new owner. Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Michigan took the largest losses. If a Fazoli’s near you has closed, it was almost certainly part of this restructuring rather than a local decision, and the restaurants that remain open are trading normally. Because counts are still moving, every number on this page carries the date it was checked.

Fazoli’s Headquarters and First Location

Fazoli’s is headquartered at 2470 Palumbo Drive, Lexington, Kentucky. The very first restaurant opened in September 1988 at 1951 North Broadway in Lexington — originally named Gratzi’s, renamed Fazoli’s in early 1989 — and the North Broadway restaurant is still serving today.

Frequently Asked Questions

As of August 2026, there are 141 Fazoli’s restaurants in the United States, across 24 states, plus one in Calgary, Canada. The US count was 192 in November 2025; about 50 restaurants closed during the parent company’s bankruptcy restructuring. Websites still quoting 200 or more locations are using figures from before 2026.

Use the official Fazoli’s location finder and search by city, state, or ZIP code, or check the state table on this page. In Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, most towns have a restaurant nearby; in states with only one or two locations, the nearest Fazoli’s may be a long drive.

Yes — exactly one, as of August 2026. California has the chain’s thinnest coverage of any state it operates in, so check the official finder for its current city and hours before travelling.

Yes. The first Canadian Fazoli’s opened in Calgary, Alberta in June 2025 — the chain’s first restaurant outside the United States. The development deal behind it plans up to 25 Canadian locations over 10 years.

Most 2026 closures trace back to one event: Fazoli’s parent company, FAT Brands, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January 2026, and about 50 restaurants closed during the restructuring before the chain was sold to FBG Bid Co. in June 2026. Alabama and South Dakota lost their last restaurants entirely.

Final Thoughts

Fazoli’s is a smaller chain than it used to be, but in its core states — Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee — a restaurant is still never far away, and new openings in Florida, Arizona and Canada show where it is heading next. Wherever you find one, the experience is the same: fast Italian food and unlimited breadsticks. Once you have picked your location, check the Fazoli’s menu before you go so you know what to order when you get there.
